According to the public relations department of Shiraz University, the doctoral dissertation, conducted by Hajar Suleimani, a Ph.D. student in the agriculture department of Shiraz University, was awarded the certificate of recognition and support for domestic invention registration by the Intellectual Property Management Center.
The project, titled "Protection of Technological Achievements," aims to promote culture and value creation from thesis and dissertation works related to strategic technologies, with registrable outputs in international and reputable references, as a supportive event.
The vision of this path is to support patent registration and contribute to the process of promoting and commercializing thesis and dissertation works with the potential for invention registration. This program is organized by the Deputy of Scientific and Technological Affairs of the Presidential Office, and the call for this project was announced on September 6, 2023, requiring participants to present evidence of their achievements. In this competition, there have been several evaluation stages. The final event of Fantez was held on October 30, 2023, in the Martyr Modarres Hall of the Pasteur Institute of Iran. In this program, attended by university professors, deputy ministers of science and health ministries, managers of scientific and technological development centers, industry executives, and deans of some universities, winners, and achievers were introduced and appreciated for their continuation in the "Fantez" path.
Among them, the project "Formulation of a New Plant Biopesticide for Controlled Release Using Nanoparticles" from the Plant Pathology Laboratory of the Plant Medicine Department of Shiraz University, related to the doctoral thesis project of Hajar Suleimani, a doctoral student in plant pathology, guided by Dr. Reza Mostofizadeh Ghaleh Farsa, a professor in the Plant Medicine Department, reached the final stage and was awarded the certificate of recognition and support for domestic invention registration from the Intellectual Property Management Center as the only selected project in the field of agriculture.
